Did you know that original background color of the Vermeer's girl was green? It faded with time and turned into magnificent black. Besides there are plenty of nice paintings by Rembrandt and Rubens.

Beautiful museum with a small collection. Less overwhelming than other museums with amazing pieces like Vermeer’s Girl with the Pearl Earring and Han Holbein’s Jane Seymour.

Perhaps the best museum in Holland. Must see: the room with the 3 Vermeer's, the rooms with the young and old Rembrandt's and the room with the giant bull by Potters. Download the app, it's a must too

Great art museum. Just the right size as they focus only on the Dutch realism period. Lots of Rembrandt paintings as well as others. Free lockers on site to lock up your bags before entering.

Lovely museum, great art (Rembrandt, Vermeer). Extremely crowded in the weekend, so go on a thursday evening for a visit.
